Haddon Hammer is an annual indoor rowing competition hosted by Haddon Township Rowing Club. The annual event draws hundreds of competitors from around the region. Most races are 2,000 meters. Middle School races are 500 meters. All racing done on Concept2 Model D Ergs.

Events: Cox and middle school races are 1,000 meters; all others are 2000 meters.

  • High School Open (boys and girls)
  • Coxswain
  • Middle School
  • Masters 
Medals
  • Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each high school and middle school event.
  • First place only awarded to Masters events.
  • Haddon Hammer Award goes to high school team with fastest “boat”.  Each school can submit a boy boat and girl boat. Coaches select  2 seniors, 2 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 2 freshmen for each boat. Fastest time wins.
Lightweight Weigh-In
  • Athletes may begin weigh-in no earlier than 2 hours prior to their scheduled event time and no later than 1 hour prior.
  • Lightweight men must not exceed 155 lbs  
  • Lightweight women must not exceed 135 lbs.
  • There are no weigh-ins for coxswain events.​

  • Regular Fee $20 (ends 11:59 pm February 25th)
  • Late Fee: $25 (Feb. 27th to Noon March 1st). 
  • Walk-ins  $30 (As space allows. Walk-ins not seeded.) 
Waiver
All rowers MUST submit signed waiver. Rowers under 18 years, must have parent sign.
